What Makes Us Stand Out

Our goal at Aviation Health is to equip the next generation of pilots and aviation professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to operate safely and efficiently within the industry's complicated regulatory framework.

We are highly regarded aviation industry experts and change managers providing professional guidance, innovative solutions, practical training and support to reduce risk, improve safety and well-being and deliver superior outcomes to the airline industry.

Aviation Health was founded by CEO Margie Burns who has over 30 years of experience working in the aviation industry. Her’s is a simple but powerful mission:

"Our mission is to offer cutting-edge products and services that enhance the health and well-being of aviation industry professionals, while also elevating the overall industry experience."

Margie Burns

CEO and Founder

Aviation Health was set up by Margie Burns and she is supported by a highly qualified team of fully accredited psychotherapists and other clinicians. Margie has more than 30 years of experience in the aviation industry, having worked with Parc Aviation at Director level for 13 years which included being based in Singapore as Regional Director South East Asia for 4 years, and providing further Senior Managment Consultancy Services while based in Vietnam over 3 years.  She also managed Parc's TRTO, an ATO, and subsequently managed Aviation Selection Consultants (ASC) for 11 years, winning ASC several awards for excellence in business, including 2018 Business All Stars Award for Best Micro Business in Ireland, and Thought Leader in Aviation for her pilot wellbeing programmes. She also co-developed a pilot specific psychological/ personality assessment measuring ‘burnout’ in pilots (pre-German Wings crash) and this has been exported to 24 different countries. She developed a cutting edge cadet coaching programme with significant results in improvements of mental, emotional & physical wellbeing using a combination of neuroscience and other coaching methodologies.  She is very excited to share this with the aviation industry as she believes this is the future for pilot wellbeing & training.  She co-hosted a podcast during Covid-19 with Captain Andy O’Shea called ‘Challenge and Response’ to help the furloughed pilot community deal with stress and the effects of Covid-19 on their careers and wellbeing and offered free confidential online coaching/counselling to pilots during that period.
